Each item on this list is intended to be used to keep students healthy and in the classroom. The pulse oximeter tells you how much oxygen is in your blood. It is important for students who has asthma or who complaints of shortness of breath, dizziness, or chest pain. The pulse also measures the pulse rate. The wrist blood pressure cuff quickly determines blood pressure and may easily be carried in an emergency bag. The cuff also measure the pulse rate. The third item is a glucometer which provides a blood glucose reading for diabetic students. This is needed as a safety net in case a student glucometer breaks or malfunctions at school.
