These books will continue to enhance our literacy-rich classroom that we, as a class, have created. Due to COVID, we have had to space out our desks and have lost the space for our library. My classroom library used to be a place my students enjoyed. It was a place for them to escape the classroom feel and indulge in their books. Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care. My students love new books and are always looking for new books to challenge themselves. Students will be able to choose and explore appropriate leveled books which will help them with their independent reading. I have chosen these books so that my students will be able to choose and independently read books that they are interested in. This will help expand their love for reading.
The magnetic letters will provide a hands on, kinesthetic approach to working with words and improve their reading skills.
The wobble seats would be a great addition to the classroom. They would allow the students to get out of their desk chairs and read their books in a more fun and engaging way. Studies show that the rocking motion can help calm the brain and facilitate concentration, which can be very beneficial while reading.
