I serve students who struggle with obtaining basic school supplies. I want to help alleviate stress from families by providing students with what they’ll need in our classroom. I love interactive notebooks because students have anchor charts, visuals and other notes housed in one place, inside their notebooks. They love to get creative in their notebooks with things such as personal drawings and doodle notes when practicing reading skills I teach. Something as simple as the interactive notebook goes a long way when helping my struggling readers grow and build reading confidence. They are able to engage in their learning and personalize it too.

About my class
