Giving all students the opportunity to either watch or feel their food grow will give them an understanding of where food comes from, that they may not have had before. They will learn how to care for and nurture a garden on a level they can physically reach and a mental level they can understand by watching the progression of growth. Allowing all students to experience (within their own abilities) growing their own food and the success that they "CAN" instead of, "it isn't possible" Because they can with help.
