My students are facing a wide range of challenges every day, and every day they come in prepared to face the day and overcome adversity. These tools will help create the environment they need to focus, engage, and participate in learning in a meaningful way. Through their academic success, they will build confidence that reaches into their social engagement and ability to interact with their peers in the general education setting. Inclusion comes from giving students the tools they need. We build success and independence by providing the opportunity for students to learn about their own needs through sensory exploration and development. The items in this project will allow students to understand themselves and have success in the classroom.
