Due to the pandemic, my district has really had to "kick it up a notch" and provide every child with a Chromebook. Most of the work and all of the testing that students are now required to do is done electronically. A lot of this requires oral administration for which they need headphones. We also have a program (Epic) where my students have access to thousands of books to read and/or listen to. My school is a Title I campus and most of my students are economically disadvantaged and we are all stretched thin during this stressful time. Class sets of headphones would allow all my students to complete assignments and have the entire amount of time allotted for testing without having to wait on a pair of headphones.
