Our district is currently learning remotely due to COVID-19 using the Schoology learning platform. Students are completing assignments at home and submitting them for me to grade. Grading assignments is a daunting task using a laptop without the ability to handwrite on assignments. My students need to see immediate written feedback on their remote learning assignments successfully this school year, especially when learning to write essays. Having an iPad would allow me to grade students' submissions and provide handwritten feedback easily. This would help students see exactly what they missed on the assignments without checking the comments. This would also allow me to edit students' essays so that students can make corrections.
