In a time when materials cannot be shared and resources are low, manipulatives like these will empower my students to be creative as thinkers and producers. While many of these materials can be used for STEM projects in designing and building, I also want to ensure that my students take time to play and decompress from stress or anxiety that may be surrounding their lives right now. With your help, I can plan some great hands-on lessons for my students as well as allow them to imagine and create during recess.
