Although we have been through many challenges in education this year, I would like my students to continue to explore environmental sciences in fun ways including art. Art can be a fun relaxing way to enjoy a new scientific concept and with your help, I can make that happen. Our students learn to be scientists with their 5 senses, they learn about animal adaptations and become stewards of this great earth through our plant unit. In all of these hands-on inquiry units, I'd like to include fun art concepts --from painting with watercolor and acrylics to building models of bees with pipe cleaners -- that will help them explore what they are learning. The stand-up lap-top desk will help facilitate giving a better view of projects and classroom visuals.
