Routine handwashing is one of the best practices to stop the impact of spreading germs that can cause illness to others. Although students clean their hands with sanitizer, it is not as effective as using soap and water. Being outside in a portable, we do not have a sink and having to go inside the building frequently interrupts classroom instruction and learning. Clean hands will not only help keep us healthy, but will also improve attendance. Healthier students means less absences and students not falling behind in their studies. All students deserve the opportunity to be healthy and successful in school!
