These books will allow my students to continue to grow their reading skills in their native language, Spanish. For many of my students, my classroom library is the only place they can get their hands on books this year, with the school library and public library closed to in person visits. Our classroom library currently is predominately English language, books, and I would like to provide my students with a variety high quality literature in Spanish as well. I teach my students that good readers think constantly while they are reading, and I want them to have books in their hands that encourage them do to that in whatever language they chose to read in that day.

About my class
