When kids come to work on speech skills, the group often targets their goals through game play. There are only so many times a kiddo is willing to play the same game over and over (and only so many times I am able to play it myself :). When kids are engaged, especially with a new educational game, they are more cooperative, and in turn, able and more ready to learn. Also, with a new game, I'm able to help kids with following directions/auditory memory goals tap into that part of their brain. My kids and I crave new items to continue learning and working on our speech and language skills.
