This document camera will allow me to model instruction. Students will see tasks performed and then follow independently. As I model writing sentences, completing addition and subtractions equations and much more, students will have a visual to guide them in completing these activities on their own. First graders learn best by seeing and then doing. On a daily basis, I model skills and strategies to better aid my students in learning the first grade curriculum. Having the ability to see their teacher perform tasks helps in preparing them to do the same.
