We are spending hours planning lessons for our students, which in the virtual classroom has consisted of many presentations we create. We spent hours trying to make our slides POP out so students stay engaged. Inserting pictures, voice overs, videos has been eating away at our nights, weekends and whatever planning we can find during the day. TPT has ready made plans aligned to our standards that we would just have to tweak. However, the plans we need to purchase are very expensive from TPT. We have already paid for many programs for our students to be able to use and bought them supplies (dropped off by us in masks to their front doors) that we pay for ourselves. We are tapped out of personal funds and are asking for support, ANY support of money towards buying lessons from TpT. Any amount of money would be helpful. Mondays are ASYNC days, meaning students work on their own. We usually have meetings during this day, so we don't plan together. We would rather spend our Mondays calling students and working in small groups with them during the day. We would also like to work with them directly after school. Being able to purchase lessons that we can add onto would help tremendously, as we would not be creating lessons from scratch, we would have a starting point. Our students need and deserve 100% of our attention and we want to give them them the 100% plus anything else we have. We want to make our lesson engaging, funny and interactive. Let's face it, sitting all day and learning from a computer is not ideal for everyone. We are already have a class with learning challenges, we want to give them every ounce of additional time in small group or 1:1.
