I realize that the items I selected don’t seem to be too difficult for families to attain. However, I teach at a Title 1 school and funds are scarce for our school and even more scarce for my families. I do my best every year to pour funds of my own into my students. Providing the materials to write nicely, providing the materials to build solar cars, and balloon cars while paying for my mortgage, student loans, as well as other necessities. So, these items that I am asking for are very important and now I will share why. We will be using the spiral notebooks, mechanical pencils, and crayons to write and express what we are learning in 2nd Grade. To further help cement the learning objectives and to have them in one place so my students can use it as a reference on their educational journey. The whiteboard markers are for our pre-writing as well as for math and spelling practice. That is my wish for my students. Thank you very much for your consideration.
