There is a technique called "Double Loading." It is when you use multiple colors on your paintbrush and add it to your painting rather than one color at a time. The round paint brushes I have at the moment, are a little sad. The bristles are falling out and it gets all over my kids' artwork. I teach PK-5th and I would really like high quality paint brushes, so their art stays bristle-free and I can also keep them for more than just one school year. We do A LOT of painting in my classroom! My watercolor palettes do not last more than a couple of months and I do not have enough money in my budget to keep buying a classroom set of watercolor palettes. The liquid watercolor would last me all year long since all I would have to do is mix liquid watercolor and water put them in a container and just refill as needed. More efficient for a lot less money. Watercolor is my favorite art media because you can do so much with it and the kids really enjoy the way their paintings look.
