Science is often best experienced when you can perform and see results in front of your eyes. We are discussing asexual reproduction, and are going to use the method of vegetative propagation to experiment with. We are taking the nodes of some potatoes and each student is going to plant one and grow their own, new, identical plant. With these materials, we can provide a warm, moist, well lit, environment for our plants. They are really excited about getting a hands on lesson, especially in these crazy times right now.

About my class
