Due to a health condition with another teacher, my fifth grade class has welcomed the sixth grade class into our room for the remainder of the school year. While we are excited about this and have been more than welcoming to our new additions to our classroom, it has shown it's own challenges. With this project, we can continue to ensure both classes are getting all that they need out of the rest of this school year. The fifth and sixth grade students are truly unique in their own way and I thoroughly enjoy getting to interact with both of these classes in my classroom. With that being said, their school work is far from the same and each group is learning their own curriculum at their own pace. With the help from the Teachers Pay Teachers website, I can incorporate fun, interesting, and convenient teaching aids into our daily classroom activity. This will help ensure I am putting my time and energy into the success of the students and time with them, rather than trying to prep lessons and materials that are already readily available.
