Many of my students are working double even triple duty as a student, parent, and caregiver. I make my virtual classroom a safe space for teen parents to care for their children, siblings or family members so that they are able to still participate in learning. One of the things that continues to occur is my teen parents having to make sacrifices to stay in school and care for their child. This project is focused on supporting a teen parent with basic supplies to ensure their child is clean and cared for as it relates to diapers, cleaning supplies for bath time, materials to keep their clothing clean, and a few extra outfits. This project will give them more time to focus on getting work done because their baby has what they need.
