Our school district has been fortunate enough to have been in-person since the beginning of the school year. My students are resilient to all of the changes and thankful to be here. One of the things that makes this possible has been limiting student contact to just members of the same class. Our schedules have shortened or altered recess and physical education classes in order to physically distance each of our building's in-person classrooms. Flexible seating options will give my students an outlet for their extra energy and help them focus and continue to succeed.
