My students would love to use the flexible seating options for our classroom because it will help them to engage in the classroom learning, it will provide learning differentiation around the room, and it can be used as a coping mechanism.
Engaging students in the classroom can be difficult when they are full of energy, but with these seating options they can use some of their energy while they stay focused to learn. These seats will help them to not only get physical exercise but mental exercise from learning.
Learning does not just have to happen at one place around the room. Providing this flexible seating option for my students will help them to differentiate where they sit in the room, creating a more authentic and collaborative space.
Using the flexible seating option in my room students can use this as a coping mechanism as they try to find the best way they learn. Each student learns differently, this will help students to discover the best way they engage in learning and create success for themselves.
With this flexible seating plan my students will be getting more than just new chairs, they will also be getting skills to set them up for lifelong success.
