My students appreciate the videos and tutorials I make; using a drawing tablet will allow me to create better quality videos with material tailored to their specific questions.To help them learn important 5th grade concepts, I send them instructional videos, tutorials, and lessons. To better reach each of my learners, I started creating my own math tutorials and lessons. I have seen engagement from home increase since using my homemade videos.With a digital writing tool, I will be able to record videos and teach live lessons with more ease and precision, I will waste less time fumbling with tools that are sub-par or free and full of advertisements that distract my students from the lesson. Walking students through complex algorithms and new mathematical concepts can be challenging when we are at school in person; it is exponentially more difficult teaching virtually. Going forward, school as we know it has changed. Now there will always be a virtual component and our students are all the more tech savvy. Having this tool to create content, materials, and tutorials for students will be invaluable. I will be able to create content that is specific and relevant to students and our curriculum, allowing me to access students across all grades and classrooms at my school. My primary job is teaching math, but often I am found teaching reading and writing. This writing tablet is not limited to math; I will also be able to model writing lessons to students. In the future when we can share physical materials with students again, students will be able to use
