We are a big picture learning school. Our students learn through their own interests and lessons are based on real world learning. Student A: I want to study neurosurgeons and cardiothoracic surgeons. I will use the tablet for research and information purposes. I would use the tablet to do this because sometimes you can’t really search up things you need on a school computer because they basically have everything blocked and then that means you don’t have all the resources you need to finish what you started. I feel this is something my whole class could use because everybody is talented in their own way and everybody likes different things such as art, music, animation. An iPad will be very helpful for us. My reasoning for this is because kids our days already use technology in our everyday lives and we learn more, expand more, and get things more often with just using something such as a phone or computer. We are already at home. It’s not like we can go out and explore more with our eyes. Man, that would be great if Covid wasn’t a thing. But, in advance, I say thank you for helping us, and I wish you happy days. Student B: I will use this tablet to learn how to draw/animate. This will teach me how to get better at what I am interested in. With this tablet, I will be able to find more details about sites that are best with animation. It will test my skills and teach me how to be patient while working. I know how to draw on paper and do sketches, but I want to go beyond my limits and learn more.
