The items needed will help the students in my classroom build STEM knowledge by building structures together, as they collaborate, plan, build and improve and learn the engineering design process. Help my students use hands-on learning to build their engineering knowledge. Students will use their blocks to implement the engineering design process by learning to plan, build, experiment, and improve. Research has shown that children at an early childhood age need hands-on learning, using their fine motor skills to build and construct. These experiences will expand their knowledge of science and engineering.
