These books will help introduce social emotional learning to preschoolers with diverse needs and help see themselves reflected in the materials. Books are a wonderful way to introduce young children to difficult topics and help them relate their learning to real experiences. Many of my materials are old and outdated - these books will help stimulate discussion, support learning about caring for one another and build a more diverse classroom culture. I will use them in my classroom to support the diverse needs of the children in my inclusion class of 3 to 5 year olds.
