Our fundraising efforts for the year will go towards referee fees, new soccer balls, other equipment, and tournament fees. At our public high school, soccer is not well attended. The gate fees that we collect for home games don't cover the cost of our referees and transportation. We will use the new jerseys to look professional as we travel to away games. Most of the soccer players on the team have a job outside of school. They are dedicated to soccer but have to juggle homework, a job, and after-school practices.
