Students of kindergarten age need large motor movement in outdoor spaces in order to challenge their bodies and minds. Outdoor play builds confidence as well as a wonder and appreciation of nature. Our sliders, parachute and storage bin will have these things on hand for my students. Having a variety of outdoor activities easily accessible gives children choices and quick transition time to play. The storage bin will provide for materials to be kept safely from the elements of a South Dakota winter as well as provide easy clean up of materials. Each of the items we have chosen works a different set of large muscle groups for building whole body strength and coordination.
