Sensory seating will greatly benefit my ASD students by keeping them safe and focused. During whole group instruction or small group instruction, sensory seating will help my students stay seated during the lesson, rather than wandering around or falling off their chair. The products I selected will not roll away and will keep my students seated and engaged in the lesson of the day. If my students have the need to wiggle and fidget, these CanDo donut seats will allow for that to happen while they are still seated during class time. I truly believe these seats will help my students become more successful by helping them self soothe and focus during our class time.
