My distance learning 8 and 9 year olds have had an incredibly challenging year. Showing my students books and math problems on the screen has been especially difficult, and they can't always see what I'm trying to show them. A document camera will allow my students to see what is on my desk. Read alouds, math examples, and so much more will be seen in greater detail with a document camera! Having this device for my classroom will help in the regular classroom as well when we switch back to onsite education. It will allow students to see read aloud pictures from all areas of the classroom when I share my document camera's view on the Smart Board.
