The items I've asked for will be used during my social and emotional health unit that is taught every Friday.. The development of a positive growth mindset is so important for a child. I teach 4th grade and that is such an important age for social and emotional development. Through your donation, I will be able to use the growth mindset journals to encourage weekly classroom discussions about the importance of having the right mindset to be able to persevere when life gets tough. The students will make an anxiety reducing, calming glitter jar, that they will keep in their desk for them at any time. To reduce the spread of germs every child will need to have their own. With Covid-19 and the cancellation of many activities, it is important now more then ever to teach children that attitude is everything. I have 4 at home learners that I will be able to share the material with and include them in discussions through google meetings.
