My students were virtual for the first semester and are electing to return to in-seat school. I was their virtual teacher and will be their in-seat teacher as well. Our students have one-to-one Chromebooks but the mouse pad is often hard for younger students to effectively manipulate. The wireless mice requested would allow my students to easily manipulate their devices, effectively demonstrate and express their learning. My students frequently use various technologies such as Google Classroom, Google slides, docs, draw, Jamboard, NearPod, FlipGrid, and several more in their daily learning. These mice would help them to create unique products of their learning by removing the frustration of having to use both hands to drag and drop materials with their keyboard mouse. This is a difficult task for young students and often results in frustration because they know what to do but may not be able to manipulate their technology just right. My students are bright and hungry to learn. They love being collaborative and get so excited when they can express their learning in these new digital ways! Please consider assisting me in teaching today's students, new innovative ways to express their learning for both their classroom and their future.
