I work in a special education classroom. My students have significant learning deficits. I have purchased a curriculum of task that support students reading, math, and daily living tasks. These task involve a wide variety of academic skills as well as multiple small motor skills. These tasks requires laminating, and velcro, and counting objects. Something that sets this curriculum apart is the ability to provide independence for students who have relied on adult help for most of their academic career. With the use of the photo box storage I use their Visual Schedules to indicate which tasks they will need to complete. The student will then independently go to the correct photo box and collect the task boxes they need to complete. My staff and I have worked tirelessly cutting and preparing the tasks and would benefit from donated laminate, velcro and storage. Thank You.
