We will be using these titles for First Chapter Friday in which students get a preview of a book before decided to read it. From the first chapter, we make inferences and predictions about what may happen later on in the story. In addition, I want to feature nonfiction works about real people whose stories students haven't heard. My goal is to inspire the students not only to read, but to listen to stories of some very awesome people who started out as kids just like them. Thank you for considering donating to my project!
