To help my students learn amid the pandemic, we will start by creating our own faction bars and other math manipulatives with the cardstock to laminate and send home. The class set of markers will be used to color code notes in Math, Reading, and Writing. Crayons will allow them to better represent themselves and others in their work. Writing folders will serve as a visual aid to help reiterate the writing process. Stickers and craft supplies will be used in STEAM activities, math problems, and for positive behavior interventions and Support. The individual STEM kits will give our curriculum the boost it needs and allow students to see what they are learning in actions. We will also get to use the Grow a Maze kit to watch how plants adapt and grow over time. Our flex seating will allow our students to focus during collaborative learning! All of these products will foster students love for learning and creativity while giving them a better understanding of the standards they are expected to master.
