In virtual school, I have 30 minutes with my entire classroom every day. I was finding that more and more students would leave the meeting, turn their camera off, or just not participate. I found Nearpod, and it changed everything. It allows you to present new learning, but take breaks for students to collaborate with classmates, draw their learning, take virtual field trips, and answer questions to check for their understanding as we move through the lesson. Nearpod changed my classroom and I was seeing students showing up more, and smiling more. I was able to use Nearpod for about a week, then I ran out of storage for more lessons. This is why I need to purchase the license, so I can use unlimited Nearpod lessons and keep my students from slipping away from the virtual learning. My students need this resource now more than ever.
