Giving students the gift of reading is so important. Having books available for students to read independently at their own level will build confidence. The students being able to pick from a variety of topics to read about will allow them to find a topic that interests them. This will ensure that the student stays engaged and enjoys reading. I, personally, love to get lost in a good book. This is something that I hope to pass on to my current students and any future students that may walk through my doors.
