The iPad and Apple Pencil I have requested will allow me to provide instruction to my students on Zoom and through prerecorded lessons. It will also enable me to provide step-by-step digital instructions with legible writing. I am currently using a Kenting drawing tablet that I purchased on Amazon. Unfortunately, as much as I try to write numbers, symbols or figures, I struggle and often have to erase the material and rewrite it. This often takes time away from instruction. As it is, instruction is taking a huge hit by the number of days we see our students each week. I want to maximize my instruction by reducing any transitional time or time that is lost by my illegible digital writing. As I mentioned earlier, I will also be able to give my students access to prerecorded instructional videos, facilitated by my legible writing, which is the next best thing since we are not able to teach students in person due to Covid-19.
