Flexible seating provides students with choice, and choice creates a more fun and engaging learning environment. Providing the opportunity for students to use a Wobble Chair increases their focus and attention, among many other benefits. During previous years, students have had many opportunities to move around the classroom, working collaboratively with peers and choosing seating options. With COVID-19 guidelines, students are sitting in their assigned seat, with little choice for seating or movement. Providing students with a choice of Wobble Chair will promote movement while staying safe at their seats, which stimulates the brain! When students are able to return to more flexible seating options, Wobble Chairs will continue to benefit students. They can easily be moved to facilitate collaborative learning, and movement while sitting will continue to increase self-regulation, focus, and retention.
