Students were excited to finally come back to classroom after one year of virtual lessons! Math is abstract compared with other subject, therefore students are often discouraged quickly after they make up mind to improve it. So, it is crucial to keep all the lessons, teachers' and students' work more visual, and more visible. Students and I use white board very frequently for this purpose. We go through markers, erasers and cleaning solution quickly. Secondly, math is an organized subject. Students constantly sort and organize the learning mentally. It demands an organized environment to keep them focused. We need a couple of pieces of furniture to organize students' files, tests, papers and learning supplies. I am sure that an organized environment, as well as more learning supplies will help students stay focused, motivated and enhance their chance of success in math.
