Our young artist are extremely excited to learn about the screen printing process as we began to explore print making. Having the opportunity to screen print and make “wearable art” is a concept that has them engaged. Creating lessons that require the students to create logos that represent them and their experiences has shifted the way they view things around them. Having these materials will help further their creative endeavors and continue to enhance their creative thinking and knowledge on art making processes. The students at our campus leave after the 3rd grade and I want to be able to provide them with a final art project where they can screen print their logo. Please help us bring screen printing to Salem!!
