Students will use critical thinking skills and collaboration to design their mini golf courses from scratch. Items such as golf putters, golf course obstacles, and the floor will be all created from classroom supplies and cardboard. 5th and 6th graders will also create 3-D structural buildings for which golfers will have to pass their balls through. The twist is, it will be glow in a dark mini golf project that will be used for Field Day in May 2021! Students will work on drafting their designs, put together their courses, test their man-made equipment, give peer feedback to others, and decorate their golf courses with neon paint or neon paper.
