This year has been especially difficult for students because they have been at home. Now that they are at school, they need to stay distant to keep safe which is hard in a small area. The way I will do this is by having a privacy shield for each of my students while they eat breakfast and lunch in the classroom. The shield will allow them to eat breakfast and converse with their peers at the same time. I am glad my students feel they can express themselves in my classroom. I learn so much about them just by listening to them. I would like to continue to allow my students this much needed time to talk to each other.
