This year movement in the classroom is very limited, due to COVID restrictions. Students are at their seats most of the day while learning. Some students like to stand, but others behind them cannot see. Having the wobble seats, ball chairs or chair cushions would allow them to move and not be in another students way. Flexible seating would be something students would use daily. They offer options for students other than a chair. Flexible seating is very beneficial to children for multiple reasons. Many students are able to focus better when offered a seat that allows them to move. They also allow for safe movement within our classroom. Having students focus better helps to ensure that everyone better understands the concepts being taught and allows for a more cooperative learning environment.
