These books will go to each student that joins our book club. Most of our students do not have any books at home and do not always connect during our distance learning time. I am hoping to make our Virtual Book Club an exciting and fun time to connect not only with each other over the story, but with the characters in the stories. Books are a great way for kids to understand emotions and feelings that they may be feeling but having a hard time sharing. Reading is always a great escape and such a great way to use your imagination. Kids are so connected to their devices right now that I would like them to learn to pick up books as an alternative.
