Almost all of my first graders are doing distance learning in the same room as their siblings, which has made distance learning even more challenging for them. Headphones with microphones will greatly improve their distance learning experience. Each sibling in the room has a computer speaker that is projecting a teacher's voice and these distractions make it hard for my first graders to focus on our lessons. Additionally, all computer microphones pick these voices up so it becomes a distraction for the other students in our class as well. Headphones will shield my students from distracting background noises and amplify their voices in our classroom.
