We are working on geometric 3 dimensional shapes in second grade! It is hard for seven-year old brains to understand 3D shapes that they can't touch and see! (And even 30-year old brains, like mine!) Please help me create and supply kits for our virtual learners to understand these 3D shapes like cones, prisms, spheres, and pyramids. We will use these objects to count edges, faces, and to classify shapes by their attributes. Students will be able to keep the shapes to inspire mathematical thinking, STEM projects, and explore abstract concepts.
