During the 2019-2020 school year, our school district was hacked and all technology, including that used by teachers, had to be removed from the buildings. This left many teachers, including myself, without a computer to work on in the classroom. Our students are 1 to 1 with Chromebooks, so they each have a device, but teachers do not. Using a student device to complete tasks takes away from class time, and these devices oftentimes can't handle the type of work that teachers need to use them for which slows them down and causes lag, taking longer to complete tasks that a desktop computer could complete in seconds. This would be an amazing help with my students and aid them in educational instruction.
