My classroom is 100% virtual this year teaching math and science to 7th and 8th grade students. Students will be able to use virtual labs created by Teachers Pay Teachers using an LMS (learning management system) to give students a hands-on lab experience. My 7th grade Life Science students as well as my 8th grade Earth Science would greatly benefit from having the ability to experience well designed labs even in a virtual learning situation. This is one way that I can develop equity in learning for my student who speak English as a second language. Learning is closely tied to experiences, it is my goal to give my students as many learning experiences as possible. I appreciate your consideration in determining a worthwhile project that will produce unforgettable lab learning experiences.
