My kindergarten students are currently following a blended school model. We attend school in person four days a week and have one day of at home remote learning. They are such eager learners! Currently, I am sitting in the middle of my classroom with a document camera to present lessons on face to face days and doing the same for virtual days. During the virtual lessons while teaching from the document camera, the students lose sight of my face and just see my hand. It makes it hard to communicate when they cannot even see me! The mobile easel would be a great asset to our class room and would help in making sure that the students are able to see me when teaching and that I am able to see them! Currently, I do not have a white board in my class for any direct instruction...it is all done from my teacher table in the middle of the classroom. The mobile easel has a white board that would be great for direct whole group instruction as well as using it for small groups. The mobile easel will become a great stage for teaching math and reading virtually and face to face to my kinders!
