These supplies will be used to create a Maker Space within the classroom. This is a space where students will have an area where they can work independently as well as collaboratively. They will be student engineers learning the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) and the Engineering Designing Process as they complete class projects. My hope is that this space will provide an area for hands on learning and help our students continue to develop their critical and creative thinking skills as well as boost their self-confidence. I feel a Maker Space will help our students be encouraged to explore and pursue careers in the field of engineering and design and become strong problem solvers. I also want this to be an area where learning is fun!
